You can read about the cute gift bag I created to house these cute note cards and envelopes HERE and HERE.  Today I am going to share with you how I created the 3″ x 3″ notecards and coordinating envelopes.

The notecards were super easy:

  • cut a piece of Sahara Sand Cardstock 3″ x 6″
  • score at 3″
  • cut a piece of Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″
  • cut a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″
  • stamp sentiment and add embellishments

I created two different styles of coordinating envelopes.  For one style, I used a sheet of Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper.  For the second style, I used the new Neutrals Envelope Paper from the 2015-2016 Annual Stampin’ Up! Idea Book and Catalog.  The new Envelope Paper is wonderful!  The paper is thin and easy to work with to create envelopes quickly with Stampin’ Up’s Envelope Punch Board.

If you look closely at the bottom left of the punch board, there is a convenient measurement grid that shows you the correct size and scoring place to make an envelope based on different-sized cards.  You can create up to 66 different sizes of envelopes!
