Pyramid Pals Star

Pyramid Pals Star

Have you seen the Pyramid Pals Thinlits Dies?  You might think that the Pyramid Pals Thinlits Dies and the coordinating Playful Pals Photopolymer Stamp Set are just for creating cards and projects for kids.  Wrong! Did you know that you can make a Pyramid Pals star?  I love to use Stampin’ Up! products to create out-of-the-box projects and the Pyramid Pals Thinlits shapes really spurred my creative juices.

I used the new Flirty Flamingo Designer Series Paper from the 2016-2018 In-Color Designer Series Paper Pack to create five pyramids.  I attached the pyramids together on the inside with Tear and Tape Adhesive, added some crinkly paper and a candle. and that was all!  It was so, so easy.  SO easy, in fact, that I am going to keep this project in my memory bank to create for my daughters’ bridal showers and/or weddings.  (NO!  They are nowhere near getting married, I just have OCD.)

Wouldn’t they be perfect table decorations?  You can also punch a tiny hole in the top of one of the points and hang a bunch of starts along a string or from the ceiling.  There are so many possibilities!  Don’t let the true intention of Stampin’ Up! products limit your creative ideas.  When I first saw the Pyramid Pals Thinlits Dies and the coordinating Playful Pals Photopolymer Stamp Set I quickly turned the page because I didn’t think I would have any use for a juvenile stamp set.  I was wrong!

It was a real challenge to photograph the star to get the true Flirty Flamingo color.  I encourage you to take a look at the professional photographs in the 2016-17 Annual Catalog (I can mail you one if you would like – just leave a comment) and the slide show below to get a better taste of the beautiful new Flirty Flamingo products.
