Stampin Up Christmas! 1 comment

Stampin Up Christmas

Hi Friends!  It’s a Stampin Up Christmas!

First, I want to remind you that on Wednesday, December 11th, you can enjoy FREE SHIPPING from Stampin’ Up! on all orders $50 and over (before tax and shipping.)  Remember to enter the December reward code  DAMTPDGF so you can receive an extra gift from me!

Next, I want to share some Stampin Up Christmas ideas with you!  I dug into my retired scraps of ribbon and Designer Series Paper to create a couple of things, but before I share those with you, I want you to take a look at this fabulous Advent calendar that my downline, Angie, made for me!

The Christmas Tree

Angie used one of the patterns that comes with the Brother Scan and Cut* and reduced the pattern by 50% to make a tree that is the perfect size for 18″ dolls, which I love!  Angie is new to my Stampin Up team, a recruit of my downline CC, and she is just getting her website and blog up and running. You can check Angie out HERE!  Be sure to keep checking back because she, like CC, is soooo talented!

Angie used the Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper to decorate the individual boxes.

The Glass Jar and the Boxes

Next up are two projects that I created with retired ribbon scraps and paper that I’ve been hoarding.  I’m in charge of decorations for our annual Italian Christmas Eve dinner.  This year, I made glass jar tea light holder centerpieces.  I also covered pre-made candy boxes and added name tags so the candy boxes can double as name cards.

Here is a little video I created that shows you how to make the jars. They are very quick and easy to make!! (Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel!)

My mom bought little pre-made, pre-filled chocolate boxes, and naturally, I looked at them and wanted to make them cuter.  I cut strips of retired DSP and wrapped it around the boxes.  Then I used the punch and attached the tags with all of the ribbon scraps that have been driving me crazy for months!  It feels so good to use up little scraps, doesn’t it?
