Playful Pals Stamp Set
Welcome! If you are following along with this week’s Stamp Review Crew “Playful Pals” stamp set review, you’ve arrived at my blog from Tanya’s blog.
I really love the versatility of the 50 (yes, I said FIFTY!) stamps in the Playful Pals stamp set. Even though the stamps are intended to create animals, I wanted to come up with an alternate use.
I looked at the images on the cover of the stamp set and thought that the pieces that are meant to be elephant ears also looked like angel wings. My daughter mentioned that the triangle shape would be perfect for the angel’s body. This card turned out to be one of my favorites of all time!
In addition to the Playful Pals stamp set, I also used items from the new 2017 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog. I especially love the sentiment, “Just a Note to Lift Your Spirits,” from the Lift Me Up stamp set in the new catalog. It’s such an appropriate saying to pair with the angel.
I think the color combinations of Blushing Bride, Sahara Sand, Soft Sky, Sweet Sugarplum, and Very Vanilla that are part of the Falling In Love Designer Series Paper are just heavenly! 🙂 You can view the paper HERE.
I used the smallest pearls from the Pearl Basic Jewels to create a simple crown for the angel’s head.
If you’ve looked at the Playful Pals stamp set in the catalog and thought it wasn’t for you, think again! With 50 different stamps, the possibilities of images that you can create are endless!
