I like to make projects that are out-of-the-box, especially when I can use my creativity to come up with alternative uses for the contents that come in each month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit. However, for one of this month’s cards, I didn’t need to go too crazy. All I did was add some texture to the background of the “Thanks” card. Take a look:
I used the Woodgrain Textured Impressions Background Folder and then assembled the card according to the wonderful instruction brochure that is included with every Paper Pumpkin Kit.
The Paper Pumpkin Kit for October 2015 also includes envelopes that are specially sized to fit the three different sizes of cards that are included in the kit. I used the Envelopes Liners Framelits Dies to cut fun coordinating envelope liners from the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack available in the Annual Catalog.
Aren’t these color combinations fantastic?
Did you know that you can order previously-released Paper Pumpkin Kits and their respective refill kits? You can! Click HERE for the details. It’s never too late to get in on the Paper Pumpkin action.
Be sure to check back Monday for a fun tip on how to use Stampin’ Up!’s clear acrylic blocks to make your stamping projects go much faster. I’ll be showing you the fun tip and how you can use it to make the card below from the October 2015 Paper Pumpkin Kit. See you then!
