Magnolia Lane Vellum Card
I told you I LOVE the Magnolia Lane Suite! For today’s card, I’m showing you how to create a Magnolia Lane vellum card. The card is inspired by the sample on page 36 of the new catalog, and it is one of my favorites.

The Magnolia Lane Memories and More Card Kit provides a few pieces of stamped vellum; however, there is only one piece of the vellum that is shown in the sample. Whenever I make cards, I make 24 of each one, so I needed several sheets of the decorative vellum. Watch how I easily used Stampin Up products to replicate the vellum:
Tips
- Be sure to apply the adhesive in the middle of the vellum so that it will be hidden when you adhere the magnolia. (It’s tricky to work with vellum since the adhesive always shows 😉
- To attach the little bow, take a Mini Glue Dot and roll it between your fingers to make it smaller so it won’t stick out from underneath the center of the bow.
- Think about making several of the same cards at one time. You never know when you’ll need one. Leave off the sentiment, and just add whatever sentiment you need when you need it. This card design is perfect for “Thank You,” “Happy Birthday,” and even “With Sympathy.”
