Best Dressed Suite by Stampin Up

Best Dressed Suite by Stampin Up

Hi Friends!  It’s been four weeks today that the quarantine has directly affected my family.  My daughter is a teacher, and four weeks ago they closed the schools. She lives about an hour south of us, so she packed up some of her things, along with her cat, and headed home to hunker down with us.  I love having her home!  She teaches online from her childhood bedroom – the same room where she played school as a kid.  While she’s doing that, I’m making cards.  I made a bunch with the Best Dressed Suite by Stampin Up.  I love the items in this suite!  The lipstick and perfume and high heels have my name all over them!  In addition to this blog, I also run a fashion blog and work as a lifestyle model, so I’m sure I’ll be using the Best Dressed Suite for many years to come!

Show Off the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper

I love all of the beautiful patterns in the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper.  I made sure to use small strips of the paper so that I could display them all on the cards I made.  The coordinating colors for the Best Dressed Suite are So Saffron, Whisper White, Petal Pink, Mint Macaron, Purple Posy, Blackberry Bliss, Old Olive, and Basic Gray.

Use the Brother Scan and Cut

Some of the sheets of paper in the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper have gorgeous purses and perfume bottles.  I used my Brother Scan and Cut to perfectly cut out the images so that I could use them on some of the cards.  I love my Brother Scan and Cut!  EVERY paper crafter needs one, especially if you make several of the same card or project. You can purchase a Brother Scan and Cut at the link on the sidebar or by clicking HERE.

Look at how perfectly the little perfume bottles are! I could never do this good of a job with my paper snips.

Use Scraps of Glitter Paper & Stampin’ Blends

I used Stampin’ Blends to color in the flowers, perfume bottles, and shoes.  It’s so fun and relaxing to use the Stampin’ Blends.  I could color for hours and hours.

To add some bling to the cards, I used scraps of glitter paper.  I think the glitter really adds a fashionable look to the cards.

All of the products I used can be ordered by clicking on the images below.  Remember to use the current host code so that you can earn a free gift from me!  The host code for April 2020 is  B9XXT3ZU.
