Clearance Rack.  Why?  Let me tell you. You can read about the features and benefits of the To You & Yours Shaker Card Kit HERE, and see examples of cards you can quickly assemble with the leftovers HERE, HERE, and HERE.  You will be a rock star when your friends receive these cards in the mail.  You can also give the kit as a gift to the card making lovers in your life. Who doesn’t want to open a present with the a tag from the Oh What Fun Tag Project Kit?  What I love most about these fun Christmas tags is that you can add them to small gifts and gift bags that otherwise wouldn’t make a great first impression and turn what at first glance looks like an underwhelming gift into the first gift your friends want to open. I have included both the Hello December 2015 Project Life Accessory Pack  (just cut out the “2015”) and the Seasonal Snapshot 2015 Project Life Card Collection for the same reason.  Each kit provides enough materials for you to quickly assemble not only scrapbooks, but also fun greeting cards.  It takes no time to cut and score card stock and use the items in both of these kits to put together cute Christmas cards. Do I even need to explain why you need the Real Red Pom Pom Trim?  I mean just look at how adorable it is!  Use it to wrap presents, string it up and use our Mini Metallic Clothespins to hang up your Christmas cards, or use it as an embellishment on your cards.  And hey, its’ red, so you can also use it for Valentine’s Day and Fourth of July projects! Here is a look at ALL of the Clearance Rack items.  Have fun shopping!!

Make “Shaker Card” Filler

Make “Shaker Card” Filler It’s easy to make shaker card filler.   You’ll see in my short video below that to make the filler for this Happy Birthday card, all I did was punch several stars with the star punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack in several coordinating colors.  (Shaker card tutorial can be found HERE.)  This card highlights the fabulous color combinations of Blackberry Bliss, Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey, Calypso Coral, Old Olive, Whisper White, and Basic Black that make up the Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper.   Of course I had to include a shaker card in my Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper “Series” from the 2016 Sale-a-Bration Catalog!  I’m just so obsessed with making shaker cards right now! The fun part about making this card was creating the “shaker” stuff on my own.  I added Gold Glitter to add some bling, but like I mentioned, I also used the Star Punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack to fill the clear envelope with shaker stuff. Here is a short video that explains how I made the shaker stuff:   I would love to see the shaker cards that you have made!  Leave a link to your blog in the comments section so we can all see your creativity!  (Link to enter comments is at the top of the post.) Be sure to check out the other cards in my Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper Series HERE, HERE, and HERE. Check out the slideshow below to see the products that I used to make this “Happy Birthday” shaker card. Birthday Bouquet & Honeycomb Happiness Ice Cream Card

Birthday Bouquet & Honeycomb Happiness Ice Cream Cone Card Stampin’ Up!’s Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper coordinates perfectly with the FREE Sale-a-Bration Honeycomb Happiness stamp set.  I love the subtle colors of Watermelon Wonder and Mint Macaron that are incorporated into the Birthday Bouquet paper’s designs.  Take a look at the beautifully coordinating Pool Party Glitter Ribbon!  Isn’t it yummy? I’ve mentioned in my previous posts HERE and HERE how obsessed I am right now with making shaker cards.  This Birthday Bouquet Ice Cream Cone design makes for a perfect shaker card!  I used some retired green glitter and some sequins from the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit for the shaker stuff. The Honeycomb Happiness stamp set is one of the many products you can choose for free from the 2016 Sale-a-Bration catalog.  For every increment of $50 you spend, you can choose one free item.  View the catalog HERE. Below are the stamps that are included in the Honeycomb Happiness set.  You’ll notice that the images are perfect for coloring.  Stampin’ Up! offers many different products that you can use to color images like the ones in the Honeycomb Happiness set.  On Monday, I’ll show you the technique I used to color in the ice cream cone image that I used on today’s card.
