Here is a look back at some of my favorite designs from the retiring catalogs: The paper dress using Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper My obsession with using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies began with these cards that I made with the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper. And who could forget the gorgeous design of this piece of Designer Series Paper from the Timeless Elegance DSP pack? **** Thanks for reading my blog this past year! Here’s to another fun year ahead with tons of new products and some great new projects!!
Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set I’m so thrilled that Stampin’ Up!’s Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set will NOT be retiring at the end of the catalog order period on May 31st. Woo hoo! That means we all get at least another year to create cards and projects with the deliciously delightful images in the Sprinkles of Life set. Three items that will be retiring on May 31st, however, are the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper, the Pool Party Glitter Ribbon, and the Dazzling Details Glitter Adhesive that I used to create this adorably yummy card. I’m also thrilled that the Tree Builder Punch, which I used to punch out the scoops of ice cream, will be back in the 2016-2017 Annual Catalog. I don’t know about you, but I eat ice cream EVERY DAY…it is my main source of nourishment! Anything that has to do with ice cream makes me happy, so the fact that we get to use the Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set for one more year is wonderful news! If you love, love, love the delicious color combinations of Blushing Bride, Mint Macaron, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Pool Party, Soft Suede, Watermelon Wonder, and Whisper White that coordinate with the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper, be sure to order of few packs of the paper before the end of the month. Here are a few more cards that I made with the Birthday Bouquet Paper: …and the Tree Builder Punch… …and the Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set: Off to eat some ice cream..with a cupcake!!! 🙂 Supply List:
Did you know that Stampin’ Up!’s products can be used to make a variety of items, including some really cute home décor? Before the Designer Rosette Bigz XL Die and the Jumbo Sticky Rounds retire on June 1st, I wanted to show you a couple of things that I have made for our home using Stampin’ Up! products. Bedroom Fan Room Décor I used the retiring Designer Rosette Bigz XL Die to make this fun décor item for my daughter’s bedroom. It hangs from the chain on her ceiling fan. It adds an unexpected dimension when you walk into her bedroom. Best part? Since the Designer Rosette Bigz XL Die is retiring, it is now on sale at 50% off. The die allows you to create two different styles of rosettes, so you are getting a double bang for your buck. Welcome Sign I had a blast making this “Howdy Folks” sign to display in our guest room. I used the retiring Jumbo Sticky Rounds (which are also on sale at 50% off) to help create the ribbon flowers. Granted, this project was made a few years ago, and as a result, several of the items I used are no longer available, like the chipboard letters. However, don’t let that stop you! Stampin’ Up! has several different alphabet stamp sets that you can use to create the same look. Just stamp the letters, cut them out, and adhere them with Stampin’ Dimensionals. This sign is proof of the high quality of Stampin’ Up! products. Even though it was made a few years ago, it still looks brand new! Before you venture out to a home décor store, check the Stampin’ Up! Idea Book and Catalog for ideas on things that you can create for your home. The fact that you created the item yourself will make your home extra special.
If you haven’t yet ordered one of the many adorable personalized name stamps from Stampin’ Up!, please hurry and order a bunch now before they retire on June 1st! There are so many fun projects you can make with the personalized name stamps. Below are a few examples. Ways to use personalized name stamps: 1) Do you own a business where you have to deposit checks the old-fashioned way? If so, order a three-line stamp with your business name, “for deposit only,” and your bank account number. Be sure to order a Basic Black Classic Pad, too, before they are gone for good. The Basic Black Classic Ink Pad is also retiring. (But don’t fret! You will LOVE the replacement!) 2) Speaking of owning a business, order a stamp with your businesses’ name, and create a set of notecards to promote your brand. I made this set of notecards and gift tags for my aunt a few years ago. She owns a horse farm named “Magnolia Farms.” Along with the cards, I gave her the personalized rubber stamp and a Basic Black Classic Pad so that she can continue to use the stamp on other projects. 3) I also created a set for my friend who lives on a farm in an old farmhouse that she lovingly refers to as “Silly Goose Farm.” I covered a cardboard craft-store box with Soft Suede Cardstock and made a divider on the inside to separate the cards and the stamp. I created a pocket on the box lid to hold the gift tags. 4) I didn’t stop there! Once you start making these gift sets, it gets addicting! I ordered a personalized rubber stamp for my best friend, Sharon, and made a box of personalized note cards for her in three different sizes. I included the stamp along with some twine wrapped around wine corks to add a little flair to the box. How to Mount Your Rubber Stamp Your personalized rubber stamp will come unmounted in a plastic storage box, along with a wooden block and a clear label with the name of your stamp. All you need to do is trim off the excess rubber, peel off the backing, and stick the rubber to the wooden block. Stick the clear label to the other side of the block, and you’re done. That is all there is to it! How to Order Your Personalized Rubber Stamp Just click on one of the images in the slideshow below to order your personalized rubber stamp. I you need further assistance, just send an email to email@example.com. Have fun! Let me see your projects. Leave a link to your blog in the comments section. Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog
