Blooms and Bliss Designer Series Paper

I have to admit that upon first glance, I decided that I wasn’t going to order the new Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper.  The patterns just aren’t my style.  However, I participated in a “paper share” with one of my customers and the Blooms & Bliss DSP was part of the share.

I’m so glad I decided to start playing around with the paper!  I created five different cards that I’ll be showing you over the next few weeks.  I like the paper so much that I’m planning on ordering a full pack for myself. ( But I need to hurry and order it HERE, and so do you, because the Blooms and Bliss DSP  has been selling like crazy and is about to go on back-order.)

The Blooms and Bliss Designer Series Paper coordinating colors are Whisper White, Sahara Sand, Mint Macaron, Island Indigo, Blushing Bride, and Rich Razzleberry.  Here is a look at the different patterns in the pack of paper.  You receive two 12 x 12 sheets of each double-sided designs.

I also want to point out two more fun aspects to this “Thinking of You” card.  First, notice the little bling that I added to the right side of the card.  (I had to get my bling in there somehow!)   To add the individual sequins, I just pulled off a few sequins from the Bermuda Bay Sequins Trim and added them to the card with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.  The look is very subtle but perfectly transforms the card from flowery to chic.

Second, notice the “Thinking of You” stamp that I used as the sentiment.  The stamp is from the “Pop of Paradise” stamp set.  Most  cards that I have seen using this stamp set are tropical since the set coordinates perfectly with the Pop of Pink Designer Series Paper.  I wanted to use the stamp set in a project that would highlight a different look, and I think the “Thinking of You” heart sentiment paired with the Blooms and Bliss Designer Series Paper is a great combination!
