Bold Butterfly Framelits Dies: Part 3

When I chose to focus on Stampin’ Up!’s new Bold Butterfly Framelits Dies this week, little did I know how metaphoric the butterfly would be to my personal life.  Today, I said goodbye to my youngest butterfly as she flew off to Utah to study this summer.  It’s always a little difficult to let them fly, but fly they must.  Do I miss them?  Well, honestly, yes and no.  Of course it would be fun to play every day all day, especially where we live in sunny south Florida.  However, just like a caterpillar turns into a butterfly, our own little butterflies must grow up and turn into whatever it is they are meant to become.

Enough about that!  I showed you how you can achieve different looks with the same supplies HERE and HERE.  Today’s card shows you how you can use Stampin’ Up!’s Glimmer Paper in Red and Dazzling Diamonds  along with the Bold Butterfly Framelits Die to create a blinged-out look.  I love bling!  Don’t you?  Glimmer Paper, the Big Shot, and the Framelits Dies make it easy to add bling to any project.

To achieve this look, I used five layers of butterflies starting with silver on the bottom:

I am also loving the new Everyday Chic Designer Series Paper, which is what I used for the base of the card.  You can do so much with it, but that is a post for another day!
