Stamp Review Crew: Cool Treats Stamp Set Welcome to this week’s Stamp Review Crew: Cool Treats Stamp Set. The Stampin’ Up! Cool Treats Stamp Sets and its coordinating Frozen Treats Framelits Dies are two of my favorites from the 2017 Stampin’ Up Occasions Catalog. Today, I’ve created two different cards that show the use of all of the products in the entire “Cool Treats Suite.” You can also view another Cool Treats card I created HERE. If you are following along with this week’s Stamp Review Crew, you’ve arrived here from Charlet Mallett’s blog. One of the best parts about the Cool Treats Stamp Set is that there are so many wonderful coordinating products that go along with the stamp set. For the “Happiest Birthday” gate-fold card, I used the Cool Treats Stamp Set, the Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper, and the Frozen Treats Framelits Dies. For the card below, I used ALL of the items in the Cool Treats Suite: Cool Treats Stamp Set Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper Frozen Treats Framelits Dies Tasty Treats Designer Washi Tape Sprinkles Embellishments The Tasty Treats Washi Tape and the Sprinkles Embellishments add so much charm to your cards and projects. I just want to eat the cards! The ice cream reminds me of my childhood summer days in New Jersey. We would play in the sprinklers outside all day and then cool ourselves off with popsicles or yummy custard from the custard stand. I love when art imitates life, don’t you? I’ve created the slide show below to make ordering easier for you. All of the products I used to create today’s cards are shown below. Click on a slide to order, but HURRY! Many of the items are retiring at the end of May, and are offered at reduced prices. Things are selling out quickly! You don’t want to miss out! Stamp Review Crew “Lift Me Up” Friends! If you’re following along with this week’s Stamp Review Crew , you’ve arrived here from Betty Traciak’s blog. This weeks review focuses on the Lift Me Up Stamp Set from the 2017 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog. I LOVE this set! Not only are the images and the sentiments wonderful and versatile, but the Lift Me Up stamp set has a coordinating Thinlits set, too! The Up & Away Thinlits Dies can be purchased separately, or as a bundle with the Lift Me Up stamp set at a 10% discount. Woo hoo! The sentiments can be used for so many occasions, which makes the Lift Me Up stamp set such a great set to add to your collection. Here are a few: birthday graduation general congratulations Valentines’ Day weddings sympathy get well thank you thinking of you My card today focuses on the “Love Is In the Air” sentiment to demonstrate that this saying can be used for a wedding shower card, a baby shower card, an engagement card, or an “I Love You” card. So versatile! The card above uses the large balloon stamp along with the sentiment, while the card below uses the large balloon die along with the sentiment. Here is a slideshow of the items I used to create today’s cards. The Up and Away Designer Series Paper is FREE as part of the current Sale-a-Bration promotion. If you spend $50, you can order it for free. Woo hoo!!!!!!! To order any of the products, just click on one of the slides and you will be redirected to my online Stampin’ Up! store. Stampin Up Cool Treats I know the chances are pretty high that it’s probably snowing wherever you are now. The last thing you want to think about is a cool treat when all you want is a nice hot cup of cocoa! But since I showed you how you could use the Stampin’ Up! Cool Treats bundle in the Valentine’s Day card I made yesterday, I wanted to show you a little tip today. It only takes about a minute, and it will make your ice cream scoops and popsicles look really yummy!! Take a look at my short video to see how I used a Stampin’ Sponge and the Peekaboo Peach In-Color Classic Pad to make the scoop of ice cream really “pop.” Like I stated in the video, this technique isn’t limited to the ice cream dies. You can use the Stampin’ Sponges and ink to hide oops and add dimension to any die-cut shape. It’s easy and makes your shapes look even better! Here is a closer look at the scoops. Notice the darker edges. To order any of the supplies I used to make this card, click on the photo in the slide show below to visit my online store. Thanks for looking!
