Remember when I mentioned HERE that when I make cards, I make a least 24 of each design? Well, sometimes that is a little problematic. It’s even more of a catastrophe when it’s ten o’clock on a Saturday night and I run out of supplies. See those three little gold circles on the card?
They are supposed to be gold sequins from the 2013-2015 In Color Sequin Assortment. They NEEDED to be gold because I tried using the other fun colors in the bunch and they just didn’t look right. Yes, out of over 750 tiny sequins, I NEEDED more gold. What to do? Why, make my own sequins, of course!
I used the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with some scraps of the Foil Sheets – Gold to create some shiny polka dots. I used the 1/4″ circle handheld punch to punch out each little dot, and adhered each circle with a glue dot. It was so easy to do and it achieved the look the I was going for. Success!
