Love Blossoms Wedding Cards Wedding season is upon us! We have already attended one wedding and we have three more so far to attend this year. That means three more wedding showers, too. That’s a lot of cards! I made two different wedding cards using Stampin’ Up!’s Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper. Both of the Love Blossoms Wedding Cards that I created use the Love Blossoms Suite from the 2016 Occasions Catalog. For the wedding card (on the left) I used Blushing Bride as the main color and for the shower card I used Rose Red. I wish you guys could see these cards in person! They are full of texture because of the Tea Lace Paper Doilies, the Metallic Foil Doilies, the Whisper White Baker’s Twine, and the pearls from the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit. Heads up! The Tea Lace Paper Doilies, the Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper, and the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit are retiring on May 31st, so be sure to order these items NOW before they sell out and are gone for good. To purchase any of the products shown, just click on the images in the slideshow below. LOVE BLOSSOMS WEDDING CARDS: Look closely at the wedding card above on the left. Notice the white heart? I used the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlints Die to add one more layer of dimension. I used the Bloomin’ Love Photopolymer Stamp Set on both cards. Luckily, the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits Die and the Bloomin’ Love Stamp Set will be returning in the new 2016-2017 Annual Catalog. Woo hoo!! I love the entire Love Blossoms Suite of products. I have made several cards with the products from the Love Blossoms collection. In addition to the two Love Blossoms Wedding Cards show here, be sure to also check out the other cards you can create with the fabulous Love Blossoms products: PRODUCT GUIDE:
Yesterday, I showed you a fun mini treat bag Valentine’s Day card that I made using the new Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack from the 2016 Occasions Catalog from Stampin’ Up!. Today, I want to show you how you can use the exact same Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper, card stock, ribbon, thinlits dies and embellishments to make a card with a completely different look and feel. One of the things I love the most about Stampin’ Up! is how all of the products coordinate. The ink, stamps, paper, and embellishments can be combined in so many different ways to cohesively make a lovely card. I wish you could see this card in person…the pictures don’t do it justice! I love, love, love the strand of mini pearls that comes in the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit! To make the center of the butterfly, I snipped off a tiny piece of the connected pearls and adhered them to the glimmer paper with Crystal Effects. Crystal Effects is a great product to use when you need an adhesive that is clear and strong. (One time I used Crystal Effects to glue the screw back onto the strap of my purse…it stayed together for years!) So, as I said at the beginning of this post, I used the same products to make today’s card that I used to make yesterday’s card, but the two cards look completely different: The reason that I could achieve two different looks is because of the Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack. There are twelve different designs in this stack, so the possibilities for creativity are endless. DON’T FORGET THAT IT’S SALE-A-BRATION TIME! Place an order of $50 or more and receive FREE Stampin’ Up! product for every $50 you spend! Check out the Sale-a-Bration Catalog HERE, and check out the slideshow below to order the products I used to make the mini treat bag in today’s post. Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog
Stampin’ Up!’s new Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper packs just enough punch to add the perfect amount of bling to any greeting card or project. The Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper is available in the 2016 Occasions Catalog on page 17 as part of the Love Blossoms Collection which included Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack (the perfect pre-cut size to use with the Mini Treat Bags Thinlits Dies,) the Bloomin’ Love photopolymer stamp set, and the Love Blossoms Embellishments Kit. I used Stampin’ Up!’s Mini Treat Bags Thinlits Die to make this adorable Valentine’s Day pocket card. In addition to the Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper that I used to make the pink blingy heart, I also used several of the items that are included in the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit. Notice how I used just a small strip of pearls on the left side along with some Gold Metallic Baker’s Twine. The Blushing Bride Satin Ribbon is as soft as melting butter and adds a glamorous feel to the card when combined with the gold foil heart doily. And just look at the sparkly Blushing Bride Candy Dots! I’m planning on sending these mini treat bag cards to my daughters for Valentine’s Day. They are the perfect size to hold gift cards. Shhh! 😉 To order any of the items that I used to make this card, just click on its photo in the slideshow below to add it to your cart. Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog
